ABOUT
The 24th of July celebration hosted by Mapleton City is an opportunity for residents to come together and celebrate the community’s past pioneer heritage and connect in new ways through various activities and events of the day. Kicking off the days activities are the patriotic flag ceremony and 5K Fun Run followed by a community breakfast and parade. Games, entertainment, and food are available in the park from 10 - 2 and is capped off by fireworks at dusk in Ira Allen Park.
The event is sponsored by Mapleton City and volunteers made up from the community’s faith based groups and is intended to build relationships and provide family oriented activities for Utah’s very own holiday.
